Derek and I did some work in the backyard today. Part of that involved pulling some annuals out of the gardens, and that meant that Anna got to salvage the few flowers that were left and put them in her little vase. . .
She was so proud of her flowers that she carried them around the house for at least an hour smelling them over and over again before I could convince her to put them down. Then once I took out my camera, she would pose with the flowers, then push the flowers by themselves and tell me to take a picture of them. Then pose with them again, making sure I got them from every angle.
It truly is amazing (and unbelievably refreshing!) how toddlers can find so much happiness in the smallest things. Thanks for the lesson, Anna! I learn more from you than you know.
